To meet the economic, social and cultural needs of our women partners and their needs for the production of goods and services and their marketing within the scope of their economic activities, to support their initiatives, to improve their production skills, thus protecting the economic interests of their partners and ensuring that they live in a healthy and developed environment.
As SÜDYAK Women's Initiative Production and Entrepreneurship Cooperative, we develop innovative projects that support sustainable development, environmental protection, and women's employment. With our non-profit structure, we prioritize societal benefit over individual gain, working alongside the local community and revitalizing the ecosystem.
With our "You Should Be the One Who Saves the World" project, we aim to reforest 252 hectares of land in Çumra, Konya, which has lost its forest status, create a microclimate effect, and implement an agriculture-based ecological reforestation model. To this end, we are planting resilient tree species such as wild pear, sumac, almond, and acacia, as well as medicinal and aromatic plants to restore nature.
Centered on women's labor and the environment, this project is also the world's and Turkey's first and only women’s cooperative project aimed at reducing carbon emissions. Through our work in the UNFCCC accreditation process, we aim to eliminate 430,000 tons of CO₂ emissions within 30 years and contribute to the global fight against climate change.
As SÜDYAK, we not only protect nature, but also support social development through employment and education programs for women and youth. By providing training in beekeeping, medicinal aromatic plant cultivation, and renewable energy, we are opening new job opportunities for over 200 women and their families.
With our responsibility towards nature, humanity, and the future, we continue our work, progressing towards a greener, more equal, and sustainable world.
